Good Laws

S07268 – Prohibits a government entity from requiring individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

A04269/S04376 – Prohibits a mandatory immunization against the coronavirus.

A7100 – Prohibits mandatory COVID-19 vaccination; limits civil liability of employers; prohibits requiring vaccination for education, employment, travel or other activities; enacts a vaccine bill of rights.

A04602 – Prohibits mandatory immunization against the coronavirus; prohibits requiring immunization for attendance at school or day care, transportation, travel, entering public buildings, employment, nursing home residency or receiving government services; provides that no proof of vaccine shall be required or used; prohibits incentive for administering or receiving vaccination.

Bad Laws

Assembly Bill A8378 – Authorizes the commissioner of health to develop and supervise the execution of a program of immunization against COVID-19 for purposes of state aid to schools; requires immunization against COVID-19 for attendance at school.

Assembly Bill A416 – Relates to the removal of cases, contacts and carriers of communicable diseases who are potentially dangerous to the public health. Makes it possible for government to detain individuals/groups deemed public health risks in a facility for 3-5 days.

A03192/S03041 – Permits any child who is at least fourteen years of age to have administered to himself or herself, regardless of parental consent, certain immunizations required or recommended by law.

A00416 – To allow the governor or the appropriate health official to order the removal and detention of any person afflicted with a communicable disease in the event that there is a state of health emergency declared by the governor in relation to such disease.

A00279/S00075 – Requires a health care provider who administers an immunization to a person nineteen years of age or older to report such information to the department of health or to a regional health information organization unless such person objects to such reporting.

S04512/A07581 – Requires social media networks to provide and maintain mechanisms and policies for reporting vaccine misinformation on their platform.

A02081 – Directs the commissioner of health to mandate a COVID-19 vaccine for residential health care facilities and to prioritize the distribution of such vaccines to such facilities.
